I came up with The Urban Wanderer blog while I was wandering Rotterdam in June this year and it has grown in ways that I could never have imagined! I have even been nominated and shortlisted for the Trespass Blog Awards in the Hiking/Walking category. Thank you all for your continued support, nominations and encouragement to carry on!
The idea was to create a resource to encourage you to get out and about easily and to discover new places around you while boosting your health and well-being through walking and wandering. It seems to be pretty popular and working too! Which is amazing from just a tiny spark f an idea while enjoying my own mini adventures and urban wanders.
To say I am excited about it is an understatement! I’m totally ecstatic to even be shortlisted.
However, you could help me by popping over and giving me a vote. It is open to the public vote between now and the 9th January next year. It is simple to do and takes less than a minute to do and it would mean the world to me if I actually won!
Since I started the blog back in July, I have encouraged you to get outside and enjoy an adventure, to take part in the Weekly Photowalk Challenge and to learn about new places too. And it seems like you are enjoying it – which I absolutely love! If I can just inspire more people get outside and enjoy where they are, I will be one very happy bunny.
