MICRO VLOG | Day trip to London

28th May 2019 by Sarah Leave a Comment

Before Christmas I attended the This is My Way event at Blacks on Deansgate and was lucky enough to win a £300 voucher! To make the most of it, as I have everything else I need, I treated myself to the GoPro Hero 7 Black. I have been experimenting ever since, by making micro vlogs!

Micro vlog of a day trip to London

Just a few days after purchasing my GoPro, we were heading down to London for the day to enjoy some museums, which proved a fun opportunity to play with my new kit.

Although we headed out with good intentions and plans for getting to some new museums we in fact failed! We went to only one on our list due to cost and the need to book. All was not lost though, as we found a new venue to enjoy and had fun wandering in the sunshine and hail!

Micro Vlog

Let me know whether you enjoy the micro vlogs! I am planning on doing some more as it feels like a fun way to share about what I get up to without taking a long time to edit.

They will be posted regularly over on my YouTube channel, so of you don’t already follow me there, then head over and do so now!

Mentioned in this vlog:

Sir John Soanes Museum

Charles Dickens Museum

Science Gallery

The Old Operating Theatre

The Wellcome Collection

So over to you…

What did you love about my micro vlog London? What did you dislike? Let me know in the comments!

Hello wanderer!

Manchester based outdoor and travel writer UK

I’m a writer and urban explorer who’s written for Lonely Planet (England and Experience England). The Urban Wanderer is where I share slow travel, city walks, food, cats, and the everyday adventures found close to home. I believe the outdoors isn’t only in the countryside — it’s in the streets, parks, corners and communities we live in.

Come wander with me, one small discovery at a time.
