Dinosaurs, Liverpool, Tatton Park, Go Ape | Weekly Vlog 2

18th July 2017 by Sarah 2 Comments

Well, I made it to Vlog 2 – just about – and this week sees us hanging out with dinosaurs in Manchester, a day trip to Liverpool, Strolling around Tatton Park and swinging about at Go Ape’s 10th Birthday in Buxton.

This week I ended up doing a kind of review of the week because I was a waffle monster at the beginning.  I’ll be interested to know whether you prefer during the week vlogging or whether you like the week in review style, like this one.#

The Weekly Vlog

Anyway, this past week has been a bit more exciting on our part.  Although we have our usual morning and evening routine for my reverse commute, we managed to shake it up by taking a different route and visiting the dinosaurs that are in town.  We also celebrated my blog birthday with breakfast in town (not that I included that for some reason) as well as the 10th Birthday at Buxton Go Ape.  So we have been having fun in the city, in the trees and around lakes.  All good, if you ask me.  Now I just need to make sure we have some fun this week too.

This week in brief

…even if I get the days wrong and Wednesday vanishes!

Rain, rain and more rain on Monday and a few other days

Visiting my old haunt that is Liverpool

Tatton Park for some fun in the sunshine while avoiding the Foodies Festival as it was too expensive

Checking out the Dinosaurs in Philips Park, Clayton

And some cats here and there, just to keep with the theme!

…Oh yeah and It seems as though I forgot #askTUW again! So still time to get in some questions that I promise to answer next week!

#AskTUW

Ask TUW (or The Urban Wanderer) is your chance to ask me anything (within reason!) and I will include it in my next vlog. Just send it to me, Tweet it with the tag #askTUW or bob me an email. I’d love to get more help in there as well as gubbins about what I get up to.
And please do let me know what you think. What do you like? What would you like to see more of?

Pop your comments below! And please be gentle 😉

I hope that you’re enjoying my weekly vlog.  If there is anything else you would like to see included, please let me know – I might even create an additional weekly vlog if it is something a bit longer.  For example, Allysse over on YouTube wants to get to know my cats. 🙂  If there is anything, email me, comment below, tweet or pop me a message on Facebook!

I’m a writer and urban explorer who’s written for Lonely Planet (England and Experience England). The Urban Wanderer is where I share slow travel, city walks, food, cats, and the everyday adventures found close to home. I believe the outdoors isn’t only in the countryside — it’s in the streets, parks, corners and communities we live in.

Come wander with me, one small discovery at a time.
